Loudoun County’s Blue Ridge Business Alliance, a chapter of BNI NOVA and Business Networking International (BNI), will begin meeting at the Carver Center in Purcellville starting Tuesday, January 22nd at 7:30 am.
The George Washington Carver School opened in 1948 as the first modern elementary school for African Americans in Loudoun County and closed in 1968. The newly restored Carver Center serves as a senior center and adult day care center on weekdays and is available for general community use on evenings and weekends.
BNI members act as a sales force for one another through referrals. Their customers benefit by being introduced to suppliers and service providers who have been vetted by the group. The BNI philosophy is built upon the belief that “Givers Gain,” i.e. “those whom you help, will help you.”
BNI is the world’s biggest networking and referral organization with more than 80,000 members in 34 countries. Last year, members of BNI passed over 3.3 million referrals, generating in excess of $1.7 billion in profit for its members. Anyone interested in exploring membership in the Blue Ridge Business Alliance Chapter may contact Carol Vacca, President BNI Blue Ridge Chapter at (703) 431-9567 or cvacca@trinityconstructiondesign.com.
